The client had recently completed a renovation of a 5 bedroom house in the Hampstead Garden Suburb. They were interested in including a home automation system. Given that there were only two people living in the property, a whole home automation system was unnecessary, so we devised a bespoke system to suit their needs.

We created a single room solution for the main lounge area where the majority of TV would be watched. The client’s arrangement was a 5.1 audio system utilising Sonance speakers and a Denon amplifier, with a 65" Sony TV - all mounted on a beautiful custom made, wooden panel wall.

WE ENABLED THE CLIENT TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL ALL OF HIS MEDIA OPTIONS WITH A SINGLE DEVICE USING CONTROL4. THIS COULD BE OPERATED FROM A CENTRALLY MOUNTED IPAD ON THE WALL, OR FROM ANY SMARTPHONE OR TABLET DEVICE.

Audio was also included as part of the package via a Sonos multi room audio system. This meant that any music stored locally on the client’s smartphone, or through services such as Spotify or TuneIn radio, would play through the system. To complete this project we also installed a TV in the en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom – the ultimate in luxury living.

The client is happy with the current solution we provided and is looking to expand the automation system into other areas of the house, after discovering just how easy it is to use. They were also delighted that all the automated technology could be operated by one, single remote control.
